Drip Irrigation

Drip irrigation is designed to save water and nutrients by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of plants, either from above the soil surface or buried below the ground. The goal is to place water directly into the root zone in order to minimize evaporation.

Solar Pump Solutions

With advancements in solar development, solar powered pumps come with a range of benefits. They have the advantage to operate in any remote location, pumping water at high pressure without needing access to electricity.
SKB design and supply solar-powered water pumps and complete solar water solutions, to allow for flexibility in water supply and no on-going energy costs.

Micro-Irrigation

Micro-irrigation is a water-efficient irrigation technique that delivers water directly to the root zone of plants using low-pressure, low-volume systems

This method is suitable for overhead irrigation on vegetables, surface irrigation in orchards, vineyards and frost protection. Some micro-sprinkler irrigation systems also make it possible to apply fertiliser through the irrigation system.

Centre Pivot

Centre pivot irrigation is a mechanized sprinkler system that irrigates crops around a central pivot point. These systems are beneficial because of their ability to efficiently use water and optimize a farm’s yield. The systems are highly effective on large fields.

Permanent Sprinkler Irrigation

Permanent sprinkler irrigation systems are fixed in place. They require less labour, as they do not need to be moved, and usually require less maintenance from the wear that moving entails. They are commonly used in long-term plantings such as pastures or seasonal crops, like vegetables.

Bespoke Pump House Design

Bespoke pump stations have the advantage of ensuring that your chamber is the right size and correct pumps are installed, resulting in reduced running costs and longer a life span for your application.

Fertigation Systems

Fertigation systems combine fertilizer application with irrigation, delivering water-soluble fertilizers directly to plants via irrigation methods. These systems offer a more efficient and targeted approach to crop nutrition, which lead to better resource management and improved crop health.

Automation

An automated irrigation system uses technology to automatically water plants, pastures, or crops, reducing manual labour and water waste. It can be programmed to deliver the right amount of water at the right time based on factors like soil moisture, weather, and plant needs.

Corrugated reservoirs

Corrugated reservoirs have the reputation of being and easy and cost-effective option to store large volumes of water.
